I close my eyes to the world, praying Just one night with my eyelids obeying But I'm met by slow movement of air Trickling up through an ocean of fear I tell my deaf mind to raise But the world is stuck in a sticky haze I'm drowning alone in a bath of blood My body the tub, caked in mud The grotesque rudeness of mind Sweaty giants pressing rewind Trickling through red tinted glass Like air, like blood, sand in time.

My Bio

It's now quite a while since I posted my first poems here, and I've grown fond of this place, a warm cave of liquid creativity to soothe the nerves. I mostly write poems, but there's also the occasional picture, short story, or just lyrical drabbles. Indeed I hope the channel I use most change to something on the scene or on a screen, as I'm hoping to study something like that (creative writing and drama) at uni in Great Britain this autumn. Great Britain is one of my favourite states in the world, I'm an Anglophile, and to some effect use British comedy to distract me from the episodes of dreary misery.

I have a blog, a twitter and a youtube (No videos posted), on twitter and youtube I'm named Etomia, while on blogspot this is me: lifeandthensomemore.blogspot.c… so now you can search me up :P, not that I actually post on the blogs, it's just for the thoughts I can't write down in a tweet or in a poem ;)

I'm always happy to get a fave, but I would most like constructive criticism, that's what makes me adapt and grow as an artist.

PS: If I've not personally thanked you for a favourite, I've probably just forgotten, and I thank everyone who has ever added anything I've written to favourites, take this big thank you :)

B-day :)

It is my birthday today, and the day turned bad when I woke up and found out that I had conjunctivitis on my eye, (yay) it then turned worse when my friends wasn't on school because they were sick.. I was a bit down so i figured I wanted to check my facebook, and BOOM I had like 26 timeline congratulations (yay) I love facebook right now :)
